F.N.B. Wealth Management Hires Regional Team Leader
Spears to Lead 10-County Area in Northwest PA and Northeast OH
Hermitage, PA – September 13, 2011 – F.N.B. Wealth Management, a subsidiary of First National Bank of Pennsylvania, has announced the recent hiring of David W. Spears as Vice President and Regional Team Leader. In this role, he will lead servicing efforts for wealth management clients in the Bank’s Northwest Region, which includes Mercer, Lawrence, Butler, Venango, Crawford and Erie Counties in Pennsylvania and Mahoning, Trumbull, Geauga and Lake Counties in Ohio. He will report to Bruce Erb, Director of Client Services.
Spears has nearly 25 years of industry experience. Most recently, he served as Senior Managing Consultant for the PFM Group, and previously as Vice President for Federated Investors. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Science from Penn State University. He is active in the community, serving as board member for Mohawk High School and the Mohawk Community Education Foundation in Bessemer, PA, as well as the Midwestern Intermediate Unit IV in Grove City. He also serves on the Investment Committee of the Community Foundation in Sharon, PA, and the Finance Committee of Seneca Hills Bible Camp in Franklin, PA.
In 2005, Spears was inducted into the Lawrence County Sports Hall of Fame. He resides in New Castle with his wife, Judi. They have three daughters and two grandsons.
